On her relationship…then…
It was just in yesterday’s news article that Yobi shared about her relationship. She shared that they have not been meeting up often due to their busy schedules but  things have been well between them. Yobi did mentioned there’s no marriage  plan yet till she reaches 35 years old. As both will be concentrating on their music careers. However, Yobi  being our lovely quirky Yobi mentioned that if she gets married she wants a fraternal twins…a boy and a girl.

On her depression
In 2008, she had to undergo vocal cord surgery and due to that  she had sank into depression before “We Got Married”. During that period she had anorexic and bullimic disorder.  She was hesitant to join the show but she glad she did. As she was taken care well during the show and it has helped her to discover back her joy and happiness. “We Got Married” show was a jubilant experience for her.

She continued on to talk about her new album and what she would like to showcase in this album.

Congrats Yobi ssi!

There have been many news article on Hwayobi’s 10 years as a singer. Most of these articles covered  her past 10 years as an artiste, on her relationship, on “We Got Married” and her new album. Below are just the gists of  what mentioned in some of the articles.

10 years, Hwayobi reached her 10 years since debut.

Her debut...
The fans went wild after listening to her debut song ‘Lie’ in 2000. She was 18, but the title of R&B queen was not to be regretted. That was how an outstanding young talented female singer who can represent Republic of Korea was born. Let’s recall Hwayobi in the past 10 years.

“I have faced many difficulties debuting at a very young age. It was tiring but now I have become indifferent/numb(used to it). 10 years may not seem like a big number, but I am proud to be able to make regular album in a long time.” she comfortably said.

On “We Got Married”…
There are masses of people who had difficulty in accepting Hwayobi but they rejoice at the MBC’s “We Got Married” coupling of Hwayobi and Hwanhee. Wacky Hwayobi has gained  popularity. Hwayobi said, “We got married” has a wide fan base. I am not 4-Dimensional, anyway I have peculiar expressions..(laughing) yet lovingly thank you for that” with a smile. She think of it as a way of  entertainment for those who watched “We got married”. It is well received because “We Got Married” doesn’t have any script. I am not good at production” in laid back manner.

On her relationship…
After “We Got Married”, Hwayobi has been with her real boyfriend. Hwayobi’s boyfriend, Sleepy has been announced to the public. The mass tried to applause when the couple had a kissing scene for the music video. She said that nowadays they can’t meet often because of individuals busy schedules.

On her new album…
The latest album 7th album, includes 10 songs written and 6 songs composed by her. Her boyfriend didn’t take part in the album because the music orientation is different. She said, “I want to do something that I clearly have and this time the technic is that I should refrain from. The kind that I would like to perform live in concerts.”

She also mentioned that during her comeback, Gummy, Lyn and those young idols will be performing. So instead of thinking of them as rivals, she would love to perform together with them and enjoy performing with the junior singers.

Seeing both Hwanhee and Hwayobi being chart toppers, I bet there are many fans who are hoping that they will have a duet someday. As we have witnessed that their duet chemistry is remarkable. It will definitely be a chart topper. I do hope that one day these two with heavenly voices will work together again to produce a beautiful duet. Are you missing their duets ?

Yobi ssi…fighting !
Yesterday, at her fancafe, her management has reported that she is not well. As she has not been resting well since the recording for her 7th album.

More power & love  to you Yobi ssi ! Your hard work has definitely been appreciated with “Bye Bye Bye” reaching No. 1 ! More news update below…

28 May: Yobi caught by paparazzi on tvN ENWS

Yobi was featured on a paparazzi program on tvN ENWS called, “Really”. The program was aired yesterday. Fans shared that Yobi looks stylish and they enjoyed seeing her in “real life”. She went to amusement park, having meals by the street and it seems that her house was featured for the first time to the public. If we are lucky to get a glimpse of this that would be awesome. Will try to scout for the vid….if there is.

In this article she talks about the need for her to be healthy. To hopefully spend time walking as a healthy routine amidst her busy schedule. She also mentioned about appreciating and loving the authentic living and atmosphere at the hanok, just like how she has experienced in “We Got Married” show.

There have been many articles that interviewed her on her new album. As the articles compared her new music to her past albums. In this article, she shared about her desire to produce a new music which is away from the ballads. It seems she also mentioned about the the change in her vocal techniques and ability which were  affected after her vocal cord surgery.

It is a rather long article and the content seems interesting but my apology due to my very limited understanding of the language I am only able to share the gist of this article.
